Important

BestDebrid is a download-management tool. We do not host or store user files on our servers. A valid notice must still identify the URL on the third-party hoster and, if possible, the BestDebrid-generated link.

A notice that is incomplete may be ignored.

Copyright notice

Send the notice to postmaster@bestdebrid.com with the subject “DMCA”. It must include:

1. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or a representative list if several works are involved).
3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it (original hoster URL and, if known, the BestDebrid link).
4. Your contact details: address, telephone number and email.
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law.
6. A statement that the information is accurate, and under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

What we do

If the notice is valid, we investigate. Where appropriate we disable the related generated link and notify the user who submitted it. We cannot delete a file that lives on a third-party hoster; that request must be sent to the hoster.

Counter-notice

The user may send a counter-notice to postmaster@bestdebrid.com with the subject “Attn: Response to Complaint”. It must include:

1. A physical or electronic signature of the user (or a person authorized to act for them).
2. Identification of the material that was disabled and where it appeared before.
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that the user has a good-faith belief the material was disabled by mistake or misidentification.
4. Name, address, telephone number, and a statement that the user consents to the jurisdiction of the federal court for their district (or any jurisdiction where BestDebrid may be found if they live outside the United States), and that they will accept service of process from the complainant.

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore access between 10 and 14 days later, unless the complainant first notifies us that they have filed a lawsuit to restrain the alleged infringement.
