Why free MEGA stalls (it is not 50 KB/s)

On mega.io/pricing, the free plan includes a storage allowance and a limited transfer quota. Transfer is the volume consumed by downloading or streaming — not an artificial 50 KB/s cap. Pro plans add storage and transfer (up to 20 TB on Pro I–III; Pro Flexi from 3 TB). BestDebrid talks to MEGA via our Pro slots, then returns a direct link. Your local connection becomes the cap.

The #key part and the transfer quota

MEGA uses zero-knowledge encryption: only the key holder can open the file. Paste the entire URL, hash included. On free, exhausting the transfer quota stops downloads and streaming until reset. Generating here applies that quota to our slots, not to your personal MEGA account.

Yes. mega.nz / mega.io links (https://mega.nz/file/xxxxx#decryptionkey) are accepted in the generator. The #key part must be present.
MEGA does not throttle free to 50 KB/s. The free-plan brake is the transfer quota (download + streaming). Once generated here, throughput depends mainly on your connection and the Pro slot. No free transfer GB figure is invented here.
BestDebrid provides technical access to files already hosted. MEGA uses zero-knowledge encryption: only the decryption keys open the content, and you must hold them. You must have the right to that content and follow MEGA / mega.io terms.

The MEGA link fails

The usual cases, before you open a ticket.
Without the #decryptionkey part, MEGA cannot decrypt the file (zero-knowledge). Copy the entire URL from the browser, hash included, then generate again.
The free plan (and every Pro plan) has a transfer quota: downloading or streaming consumes it. If the slot is exhausted, retry later or open a ticket. This is not a 50 KB/s cap, and no free GB figure is invented here.
If the owner account exceeds its storage allowance, MEGA may stop serving the file. Open the link on mega.nz. BestDebrid cannot enlarge the uploader’s cloud.
A parked or locked MEGA account no longer serves files. The public link then fails here as on mega.nz. You need another mirror, or the owner must restore the account.
Fill the password field under the link box and generate again. Without it, the keys stay inaccessible.
MEGA imposes browser download size limits. Regenerate the link here and use a manager with resume (JDownloader, IDM). A 404 can also mean the file was removed.
