Why Hotlink feels slow on a free account

Hotlink deliberately limits free sessions: low bitrate, a single transfer at a time, a forced pause between files, and a daily cap per IP. BestDebrid queries Hotlink with premium access and returns a direct link. Your local bandwidth then becomes the main speed limit.

Messages like “you have reached the download limit”

That warning shows up when you download on Hotlink with a free IP and the daily quota is used up. Generating the link here takes your Hotlink IP quota out of the picture: the transfer uses our premium access.

File missing or Hotlink error page

Open the URL in a browser. If Hotlink shows “file not found” or a blank page, the file was removed (uploader, DMCA, inactivity). BestDebrid cannot recreate a deleted file.

The download starts then stops

Direct links expire. Generate a new one from this page instead of reusing an old URL. For large files, a manager with resume (JDownloader, IDM) avoids starting over.

Malformed Hotlink link

Copy the full URL as shown in the address bar (hotlink.cc/id/file-name). A shortened, truncated link, or one pointing to your Hotlink file manager, is not recognised.
